Learning Challenge: Happiness Jar part 2

Last week, I started the "Happiness Jar" learning challenge.  I decided to write down things that made me happy onto the notes on my phone.  It was pretty hard to do, since this season of the semester is very busy for everyone, and it does indeed get very stressful.  However, the few things that I wrote down made me more thankful for the good things that happened to me.  I'm not sure if I'm the only one who experiences this, but I tend to be more happy about something if I'm concretely thankful for it.  The Happiness Jar reminds me to be more thankful of my experiences. I have more happiness whenever I am thankful .

Topic Brainstorm

Heroes of Greek Myth: Source I've only heard a handful of stories about Mythical Heroes.  Even in the ones that I am a little familiar with, I still don't know too much specifically.  I was interested in Greek Heroes when I was younger.  I've since moved onto more important things, in my own opinion.  However, it wouldn't be bad to revisit my old interests.  I would probably write about stories of major heroic characters in Greek Mythology, such as Heracles, Odysseus, and Jason.  I would probably write it as a narrative towards a younger child, just like how I was interested in it in the past as a child. Bible Stories: Source I come from a Christian background.  I'm familiar with most Bible stories, but I'm not proud to say that I don't know many of them.  I would probably write about more obscure stories that I, and perhaps others, aren't very familiar with.  I would try to write it so that it doesn't seem Biblical in nature.  It wo...

Tech Tip: Google Timer

I've actually been using the google timer (when you Google search for "timer") many times recently.  It's actually always been for one reason only. Sadly, it's because I need a nap.  Sometimes I'll have homework or studying that needs to be done before class, and it'll be like 2am.  I just need a quick doze for 20 mins to refresh my brain.  I used to do this on my phone, but I'm such a heavy sleeper, and I subconsciously learned how to turn my phone alarm off while I'm still in my sleep, causing me to oversleep.  But the Google Timer is nice because I can make it loud enough to wake me up completely and get my work done.
